Dear Mr. Campbell
Thanks for such a great time out at Rocky Mountain House! I learned so much about rifles and marskmanship in such a short time. When I went home on Sunday my head was still spinning with how to scope in according to the weather and how far the target is away from me. I thought that your teaching methods were very informative and in depth yet still easy enough to understand, and apply to my own rifle shooting. This course has given me a clear vision and understanding of the art of marksmanship. Thanks again for your time and patience with our class as we learned how to scope in, aim, and shoot properly.

Yours truly your student
Pilar Casamayor

P.S. I can't wait to get out on the shooting range again.

When I attendced the practical marksmanship course I had never shot a firearm before. By the end of the weekend I had a thorough understanding of how to operate and use a firearm as well as how to care for it. This knowledge has caused me to have a greater appreciation of guns and the skills of marksmanship.
Our instructor Mr. Campbell was well organized and an obviously experienced marksman. He always explained his instructions clearly and personally demonstrated what he expected us to do. He taught us the skills one at a time, adding new techniques gradually, allowing us to acknowledge and correct our mistakes. He was patient and encouraging, and especially considerate of the disadvantage my sister and I faced in not having equipment that hd been bought and fit for us individualy.
I was very impressed by how practical and easy it was to comprehend and apply the information we learned in this course. The course was an enjoyable experience that was beneficial to a varitety of individuals with different skill levels.

Thanks again
Sincerely, Chenoa Casamayor

Hello Dale, This is just a brief note to say thanx and express my enjoyment of the course ("scope-eye" & all). I have healed nicely and you provided me with a good refresher, new stuff, memories of the past --- and a decision to put more time into long range -- both with Black Powder Cartridge and High Velocity. I was mortified to discover my inability to stabilize my kneeling and sitting positions for more than approximately 1 shot. Having used both successfully in the killing of game, over the years, I was shocked that I could not function better/comfortably.

I also just realized that it was 40 years ago (God does time fly) that I was a member of my High School Shooting Team (I lettered all four years in that and soccer) and I shot 4 position with small bore; used a Winchester Model 52 & Remington 40X in about the 12 - 14 # range -- with peep sights. I shot all over New England and even took "High on the Team" at Winchester Repeating Arms in New Haven ( I still have the trophies and ribbons). I used a different type of Sling and I knew exactly what you were talking about re: shooting jackets; but the hard part was not being steady and my past injuries sure showed up. Well stretching exercises have just moved up the agenda. I hope to be able to shoot this summer/early fall -- if you do a get together; and should you decide to put on a course that is more just longer ranges --- 3, 4, 5 (+) for a day some weekend I would sign up.

It was a pleasure.... Ted

This letter will describe a recent weekend shooting experience that I had. I saw an ad in the Bargain Finder outlining a Practical Marksmanship Course. It caught my interest and I phoned the Calgary number and spoke to Dale Campbell, instructor. It didn’t take long for me to be sold on the idea, it was obvious that Dale fully and completely understood all aspects of shooting and demonstrated and eagerness to pass this knowledge on to his students.

I noticed an immediate change in my groupings @ 100 yards after a few minutes of instruction on how to position myself and breathe correctly. All of the info discussed in this course was very helpful. If, like me, you had never had any formal training on how to properly understand how to use a firearm to it’s full potential this course is definitely for you. Both Dale and Don displayed encyclopedia like knowledge in their respective fields. Dale’s extensive hunting experience showed as he could describe many different situations in which he used the basic principles that he teaches to make a difficult shot easy.

This was a great time and a great investment. Should anyone have any questions regarding any aspect of this course please feel free to email me. NOTE: I had never met either gentleman previous to the course. Thanks to both Dale and Don for their patience and hospitality.

I met Dale through a mutual friend and learned he was a rifle shooting instructor. My aiming technique had become sloppy and he offered to help me. Several sessions improved my aiming and I had Dale sight in my rifle. He invited me to go deer hunting with him. The first time three does came by my stand, the second time a very good buck appeared at 200 plus yards away. A shot through the lungs secured him.

  • Excellent instruction
  • Everyone who has a flat-shooting rifle wtih a scope (varible) should take this course.
  • Most times people can't shoot anywhere near the potentinal of their equipment.
    Why...?
Because they haven't had proper instruction. This course is worth more than most rifles!!

  • The instruction was very thorough and well explained.
  • Dale is a walking dictionary of balistics and knowledge, demanding but very patient.
  • Losts of practical and useful information.
  • Thank you for your knowledge, time and experience.

Instructor was knowledgable and informative. Prensented solid practical material that was easy to understand and practice. Class flowed a good pace and Dale kept every thing interesting and provided good constructive criticism as needed.
I would recommend this course to all shooters.

It was a realy awsome course. All of your info and instruction was excellent. I liked the no B.S. style you have. I am a better shooter because of this course.

Thought the course was incredible. The info I received in these two days can't have a price on it. Cost wise I think even double the price would be a good deal for the profesional level of instruction given.
